Keith Mahler, MPT, CEAS
Keith graduated magna cum laude from San Diego State University in 1997, with a Bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. While pursuing his B.S., he was recognized for contributions to the university through his work in the fitness lab for the disabled. In 2001, Keith earned his Master’s degree in physical therapy from Chapman University, and has been practicing outpatient orthopedics in the San Diego area ever since.
Keith is certified in ergonomics and manual therapy, and is highly experienced in the areas of peripheral nerve dysfunction, cervical and lumbar spine dysfunctions. He has implemented many programs, including vestibular and balance, osteoporosis, aquatic physical therapy, and ergonomics. Keith has worked with professional and student athletes, helping to restore their functional and athletic capabilities.
Outside of his professional life, Keith has competed in water-skiing, volleyball, and baseball, and enjoys cycling and backpacking. In 2007, Keith opened his own clinic, now located in Mission Valley. He has also worked as a lab instructor for the DPT program at Chapman University. In 2010, he published a chapter related to lower extremity dysfunctions in the Orthopedic Clinical Advisor.
