- How do I make an appointment?
We will need a doctor referral for insurance purposes, which may be obtained from your primary care physician. Give us a call at (619) 296-5780 to let us know why you are coming in, and we will schedule an evaluation.
- What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring your health insurance card(s) and doctor referral (or doctor office name so we can have a referral faxed over). Please arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork.
- What should I wear to my physical therapy appointments?
You can wear anything comfortable, but the physical therapist must to be able to access the areas of your body that bother you, so keep that in mind when choosing an outfit. For example, if your shoulder is being treated, you may choose a tank top undershirt. If your knee is being treated, please wear shorts or loose pants that can be rolled up to access the knee.
- What types of insurance do you accept?
We accept Medicare, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, Tricare, United Healthcare, Worker’s Comp and Self Pay. We accept many other insurance types, so please call the office if you are covered by insurance that is not listed and wish to seek treatment.
- Will my insurance plan cover physical therapy?
Yes, most plans will cover PT. However, if you are not sure, you can call the member services hotline for your insurance company and verify what your plan covers. We are happy to assist you with obtaining your coverage information.
- Can I email you the new patient forms before my first appointment to save time?
Unfortunately, HIPAA rules and regulations prohibit emailing personal health information to us. However, you can fax us the paperwork 619-296-5787 or print it out and hand deliver it to us at your first appointment. New patient forms can be found here.
- Where can I park?
There is free parking to the left of the building entrance, as well as behind the building.
- Is there handicap access to the building? Where is the handicap parking?
There is handicap parking in the rear of the building as well as a ramp entrance. There are elevators that are available to bring you to the 4th floor.
